Provides coverage if the customer causes an accident that results in injuries or fatalities to another person, covering related expenses. It also includes protection for property damage to another person’s property caused by the customer in an accident.
General Liability coverage protects the customer’s business by providing coverage for bodily injury or property damage resulting from accidents related to the customer’s business operations (excluding incidents directly involving the insured vehicle). Accidents involving the operation of the insured vehicle are covered under Commercial Auto Liability coverage.
Motor Truck Cargo coverage provides protection when the customer is responsible for damage to or loss of the cargo being transported. This includes incidents such as fire, collisions, or accidental impact with the cargo itself.
Comprehensive coverage protects the customer’s vehicle from non-collision events like theft, hail, or falling trees, and includes collisions with animals.
Collision coverage covers repairs or replacement if the vehicle is damaged in an accident, overturns, or rolls.
Collision must be purchased with Comprehensive or Fire & Theft with Combined Additional Coverages.
Workers’ compensation covers medical expenses, lost wages, disability benefits, death benefits (including funeral costs), and legal fees for work-related injuries or illnesses. Coverage varies by state and policy terms.
Non-Owned Trailer Physical Damage covers Collision and Comprehensive for business-use trailers in the customer’s possession for less than 30 days. Trailer must not be rented or owned by the insured.
Trailer Interchange insurance covers damage to trailers that are not owned or rented by the insured but are used for business. It protects against collision, theft, vandalism, and weather-related damage while the trailer is in the insured’s possession. You must have a trailer interchange agreement.
Hired Auto provides liability coverage for vehicles rented, leased, or borrowed for the customer’s business use. Non-Owned Auto Liability covers liability for employees’ vehicles when used for the customer’s business.
UIIA endorsements refer to additional provisions added to an insurance policy to meet the requirements of the Uniform Intermodal Interchange and Facilities Access Agreement (UIIA).

Commercial Auto insurance for small businesses covers vehicles used for business purposes, providing protection for liability, property damage, collisions, and other risks like theft or uninsured motorists.
